I saw you look away
Is what you've seen too much to take
Or are you blind and seeing nothing?

-Bullet For My Valentine : Hands Of Blood-

My heart is worn out to keep beating
My lungs exhausted by all this breathing
My mind's too tired to keep grieving
My throat is too sore for more screaming
My eyes too swollen for more weeping
My wounds are too dry for more bleeding
My blood too drained for more streaming

!!We Plan or We Spent? Mobile Prepaid
( Monday, July 28, 2008 )

This entry rants abit on how we plan our expenses, or how they planned we spent? take a guess, either way, we were already hit in the head. This time, I focused on mobile phone prepaid expenses. let's check it out

U Mobile
Yes, fairly new in our mobile technology, said to be a competition for DIGI Prepaid and Hotlink because of their somewhat called ‘pay what we need’ rate, hehe. For now, their rates are applicable for their network and also inter-network. Sound promising? Yes at first, with their per-second charges, but, get this, 0.8 cent/sec = 48cent/min, yes? Also, their SMS rate are 1 cent higher than DIGI’s, wonder how will they top that, ohh, my bad, they already ‘topped’ that. heh

Happy
Said that whoever uses this Happy packages, will be happy, it provides flat out rate of 1 cent/sec with a max charge of 99 cent per call, yes, even if you talk from today till the day after tomorrow, the max charge still 99 cent. Hearing this already made me happy. Also it gives 60 days validity period for any reload. This is another DIGI Telecommunications product though. And it’s a flat out rate for any network. The only drawback is, it is not easily available.

Hotlink
Ahh, Hotlink, their call rate are not that cheap either, hmm, I dunno bout their other plan rate though. Also, the call rate for NotActive10 and Inter-Network are reduced to 36 cent/min after a total usage of RM30 in a month, this rate is made available for the next 30 days. After that, it will be back to the normal rate, even if you already used RM30 in the 30 days period.

DIGI Prepaid
First, understand that DIGI Prepaid had all the ‘plans’ to chose from, these are just the common one, note that FnF Plus are just extension for FnF, it would add up two more inter-network number and get the FnF Plus rate. See the value much differs? That’s is why people always stick to a ‘plan’. :D. and understand the 30 sec block system, it charge you when each 30 second of each minutes is over. Say, you talk for 1 minutes and 2 second. They’ll only charged you 11cent, but, if you talk for 1 minute and 32 second, they’ll charge you 22cent already. Brilliant? NOT. Also they had this ‘rate reducing’ scheme where the rate will be flat out 36 cent/min after usage amount of RM30.01 onward. Applicable only to the plan where the usual rate exceed 36 cent/min. Sound familiar? Hmm, where I’ve heard that before?

Xpax
Xpax, the most anticipating prepaid from a company that is able to sponsor a foreign football club. The rates? Are choking hazards. But still, said to have the most user. Dunno the facts though. But, they had the most complicated and ridiculous plans. Wanna know what I’m talking about?

Do understand the ‘adjacent-non-adjacent’ slang thingy, when Local, it means, you in Selangor, making a call to friend Selangor only. Adjacent, means, neighboring states, you in Selangor make a call to friends in Perak, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang. Non Adjacent means, the other state that didn’t fall in any other category, yes, you in Selangor make a call to friends in Kedah, Penang, Terengganu and all that. This is bad news for Perlis folks, as their neighboring states is only Kedah

MID Plan
see pic
Mind you, I am using this plan now.

Lite Plan

Didn’t notice it? Yes, the peak hour rates for SMS are higher that off-peak hour. Don’t bother asking me why, I’d say it’s for those who work night time or are dead during the day, to cater for vampires perhaps? Also, this Lite Plan, got the Super Off-peak SMS rate of 1 cent/sms, within the same network only though.

Max Plan

And yes, the plan is Max Plan, but the rates are much lighter that the so called ‘Lite Plan’, why don’t they just put it, ‘Light-You-Up-In-Flames Plan’, heh?

My point is, these are war-business, whoever winning, we (the customer’s) don’t. heheh. we can't chose what ever best that fits our need though. even when its not that necessary
